Young Veggies dropped a track called Summer, I Suppose produced by Rich Kidd. Casey takes us through a story about his summertime. This is something different than anything I've heard from Casey before, but I can dig it..
"The secret to being fresh and diverse is being YOU and doing things outside of the box."

Fresh EP: Crack Killz "The Beautification Project Vol. 2"
At 12 a.m. Crack released the The Beautification Project Volume 2, which is a follow up to the original Beautification Project. Right before that, he released some visuals to a track called That's Fasho featuring ZelooperZ. Seems like Crack was just on a roll yesterday. Volume 2 of The Beautification Project is a 6 track EP that is put together, well..... beautifully. Track by track, there seems to be a storyline about love. If you look at the difference in the album artwork between the two, you'll see that in one he seems to be in the foreground and have a ladyfriend in the background. In the other, you will see that him and the ladyfriend are face-to-face with pleasant smiles on their faces. Sun in the background, and overall the cover is green, which represents growth! With that being said, I LOVE the concept of the album artwork.
Production includes 4 tracks from Da G, 1 from the homie T Deezy, and 1 track from Soundboy. He didn't have many features, actually only 1 someone that goes by the name of ISIAH, who recited a poem.
I rock with every song on here, but one song I constantly have on replay is Show Me It's True. I love how they took the instrumental from Xscape's classic Who Can I Run To and made it a little different. AMAZING. Overall these are two immaculate EP's and I suggest you listen and download both The Beautification Project and The Beautification Project Volume 2!
Fresh Video: Crack Killz feat. Zelooperz "That's Fasho"
Visuals to "That's Fasho" from Crack Killz featuring Zelooperz was released not too long ago.
This was my favorite track off of The Beautification Project. Crack and Ze on a track are a great combination, and Ze has the best adlibs!
The next post will be on The Beautification Project Volume 2.

Fresh Video: Richy Marciano "The Making Of Reflections II" (Part 2)
Richy Marciano drops part two of The Making Of Reflections II. In this piece, he talks about producers that contributed to the project, the process of picking the naming it, how much time and dedication he put into it, and more...

Fresh Artwork: Fresco "Max Julien" hosted by Dj Pest
Another TreeLeader member is beginning to emerge! @MotorCityFresh or also known as Fresco will be releasing his next project titled Max Julien hosted by DJ Pest sooner than you think. You feeling the artwork? I'm digging the 80's pimp theme!
Fresh Mixtape: PDK "Skinny Nigga Dope Flow"
The 17 year old artist PDK out of Detroit sent me his mixtape Skinny Nigga Dope Flow to listen to, and I think it deserves a post. It seems like younger artists are finally getting the point, and that is to go for longevity and not temporary success. PDK has a great flow, throws in a few double entendres, and overall a nice amount of lyrical content.
The songs that stick out to me are The Power of Chi!, Mr Skinny Jeans, Underrated Radio, and Game Over. Overall, I think this is a pretty solid project, and I would love to have some visuals for Underrated Radio! Listen and download Skinny Nigga Dope Flow

Waveisode Presents: Casey Veggies for Live From The Underground Tour - Week 3
Week 3 wavisode from the Casey Veggies and the PNCINTL crew while on the Life From The Underground Tour with K.R.I.T. The team stops for a meet and greet, and also shows some footage from the shows while they were on the road.
Fresh Mixtape: A$AP Mob "Lord$ Never Worry"
It's 12:45 am, and I have a 9 am class, but of course I had to stay up to download the Lord$ Never Worry mixtape from the A$AP Mob that I've been blogging about all day. Finally here it is, the A$AP Mob Lord$ Never Worry mixtape!
The album artwork is dope, and portrays them as being "hard hitters". As I stated in a previous post, they went with the baseball theme, including baseball jerseys, baseball bats, and baseball caps. The black and white puts a little edge to it as well! One question, where can I purchase one of those baseball jerseys? HOT!
The seven core members are included on this tape which are Rocky, Yams, Addie, Ty Beats, Ferg, Twelvyy, and Nast. Features include people from outside of the circle such as Danny Brown, Fat Trel, Gunplay, Jim Jones, and many more. A lot of different producers contributed to the tape as well!
There are 18 tracks of vibed out tunes, but my favorites would have to be Thuggin Noise, Full Metal Jacket, Coke & White B*tches Chapter 2, Bath Salt, Black Mane, Dope Money and H*es, and The Way It Go.
Overall I would say this tape is a great way to introduce the rest of the mob, instead of all the limelight being on A$AP Rocky.
I can rock with this for a while until Long Live A$AP is dropped on October 31st.
Download Lord$ Never Worry
Fresh Tracklist : A$AP Mob "Lord$ Never Worry"
With 30 minutes to go until the release, the A$AP mob has revealed the tracklist for Lord$ Never Worry! Many different producers, and some ill features...

UEP Music Submission: The Chase "Too Much Too Fast"
Get caught up in the movement. The Chase is
an Atlanta-based urban band. Our mixtape Caught Up In The Chase is now
available for free download on our site!
Band members include Paul Jones, Murphy II, and Jamal Press and We Are The Chase!
Rashaad Jamal Pressley was born in Miami, Florida in 1985. He moved
to Atlanta, GA in 1998 and attended Georgia Institute of Technology. He
currently resides in Atlanta. Jamal has always had an interest in music.
Learning how to play piano at the age of 6, he continued playing
different instruments throughout school. During high school, he
discovered a software sequencing program called Fruity Loops and taught
himself to program beats. He drew his inspiration from many musical
influences, including jazz, hip hop, classical and reggae music. Jamal
worked on songs with several local groups and for a short time was
affiliated with a production team called GHOP (Georgia’s Hottest
Original Producers). More recently he’s had the chance to work with
Grammy award winning producer, Sim Stevenson
Murphy II is a songwriter, producer and engineer. He was raised in a
very musical family in metro-Atlanta, GA. By the age of six, he was
singing solos in the church choir. Throughout junior high and college,
he traveled throughout the United States and abroad, performing with
highly renowned choirs. While attending college in Huntsville, AL, he
began an internship with Sound Cell Recording Studios where he learned
how to produce as well as engineer from Doug Jansen Smith who has worked
with many highly established artists. Upon completion of college, he
returned to Atlanta and began an internship with Bruce Bennett at Bruce
Bennett Studios in Stone Mountain, GA who also has worked with many
prominent artists. Bruce became a great influence by helping shape his
production and engineering skills while encouraging him to become
creative in his writing. He has a strong love for Hip Hop that dates
back to the early 90’s where he was influenced by many poetic artists of
that era. This love has helped him breed a distinctive, unique yet
smooth and captivating sound.
Paul Jones was born in Jacksonville FL. (DUVAL). He started writing
when he was a teenager. As a child, he would recite poems and
scriptures in church. Most of the poetry was written by his aunt. As
Paul grew older, he started constructing personal poems and began
searching for his own writing and performance style. As time
progressed, he added a hip hop approach to his poetic prose. This led
to freestyling, writing rhymes and lyrical battles with friends in high
school. While in college, Paul joined a spoken word group called
Art-n-Soul. This organization played a crucial role in his writing
style and performance development.
After moving to Atlanta, GA, Paul got more involved with music and
writing. He helped start a short lived band called “Alter Ego”
with Jeremiah Turner and Maeling Tapp. He came in contact with Jamal
Press through Maeling. Soon, Jamal Press became a musical mentor to
him. Later, Ms. Tapp introduced Paul to her boyfriend Murphy II. They
were acquaintances but never thought about pursuing music
together. After running into each other at a show in East Atlanta,
Murphy asked Paul if he was interested in doing a song with him and
they began to correspond via twitter and email. Paul was impressed
with his musical style and told him that his friend Rashaad (Jamal
Press) made beats. Murphy invited them to the studio and that was
the start of….The Chase
Thanks,
The Chase (@StayInTheChase)
UEP Music Submission: Producer J-Mo ft. Young Cypher "Do It"
I am Jeremy Moore aka Producer JMO ON THE TRACK, 23 years old from
Mobile, Alabama. I’ve been involved with music for sixteen years now
and have mastered the art, sound, and musical intelligence of a
Composer and Super Producer. I started playing drums when I was seven,
so my drums have something to show for. As I grew older, I used my
talent for drums, and my singing for choir, in my hometown church. At
the beginning of sixth grade I began to construct instrumentals and
composed my first track. Later, I took on mastering other instruments
including trumpet and piano. In High School, I was involved with the
Marching Band and Jazz Band to broaden my horizon of musical sound and
gave me the chance to understand and really study each instrument
diligently. Music became my whole life and career choice the moment I
found myself surrounded by it everyday. My true passion and goal, is
to be heard musically throughout the world and work with various
artists from any genre. I will strive for what ever it takes, and with
only faith in God to bless me with thought and soul toward every piece
of music I compose, I am confident in each and every track I
accomplish.
My drive for music is in my blood from my Father, an R&B singer and
songwriter, who is the person I get my inspiration from and keeps me
motivated to stay up all night and even full days, just to keep
producing. My urge to become a greater Producer led me to pursue a
college degree in Recording arts, to expand my knowledge for work, so
I currently attend Full Sail University. Being based in Orlando, FL
keeps me networking constantly and having my manager and closest
friend Brad Hudock here with me allows me to keep my business and my
profession rolling at all times. We are now accepting to work with
anyone who is willing to share our strive to be heard by millions of
people…I always like to think big, as you can tell from my music and I
have faith that everyone will love me, JMO ON THE TRACK, and I am out
to prove myself to the world! FOLLOW THE MUSIC!...... STREET ALBUM
COMING SOON Called "BITE ON THIS: The Express Lane"
The track we are sending called "Do It" that has rapper @YoungCypher,
also an underground artist, is a Single off of this Street Album "BITE

UEP Music Submission : Yung Snazz "Bands"
I never thought that my life would be where it is today". Most people can relate to this saying at some point in their lives. No matter how planned out you make your life, sometimes life has other plans. Jasmine "Yung Snazz" Lyons was born September 25th 1989 in Detroit, MI. She was raised by her mother. "Growing up was hard for me emotionally. I didn't have that two parent home that you see on T.V". The lack of her father's presence never interferes with her dreams and goals. Yung had always had a lover for music since a very early age. "My first experience with music was in the third grade when I learned to play the violin". She went on to join the glee club and was sometimes teased because she seemed to be the only kid in her class that thought the glee club was cool. Her first big musical moment took place when she was ten. "I never thought I was much of a singer, but I had heart and worked hard. I got my first big moment at my schools Christmas program". From that day forward she became addicted to the spotlight. "The poetic feel of Hip Hop was the thing that got me into rapping". Through most of her junior high years, Yung went through stages of depression. "I felt alone. My dad was never around anymore and I was still mourning the loss of my grandmother". Artists like Eminem and Jay-Z helped to keep her afloat. She began to write poetry to escape and vent about the hardships in her life. "Hip Hop saved me. It was my escape My poetry soon turned into something different; rap". Yung's style is a versatile one. She makes music that makes you dance and just want to have a good time such as "The Anthem" and "Last Night". On the other hand songs such as "King of Sorrand and Back Against the Wall" are more on the conscious end of the music spectrum. "I still have a long way to go from here. It's the beginning of something that I'm hoping is bigger than what I'm expecting
Fresh Music: High Royalty (M.Dizz, J.Fin, D.Rice) "Down Bottom 12"
Just got out of class and I received some a hot track, couldn't resist posting! A few members of the High Royalty music group including M.Dizz, J.Fin, and D. Rice dropped a cover over the Ruff Ryder's classic "Down Bottom" beat. I'd say they continued to add on to the energy that the original song created. High Royalty is on my radar, go ahead and download some fire.

TheFADEDPenguin x The Mile Fly Club presents "Cosa Nostra"
TheFADEDPenguin and The Mile Fly Club presents to you Cosa Nostra. This project connects the gap between upcoming Michigan and Florida music artists. Before listening to this I knew of no Florida artists, but now I'm pretty interested in what they have cooking up in Florida. Michigan artists consist of Ro Spit, Drew32, J.G, Nolan The Ninja, Crack Killz, and more!
Download: Cosa Nostra now!
Fresh Video: Sigidy "Mira a Mi Novia"
Here is a new face to the xCaliber community, and he goes by the name of Sigidy! Sigidy is a Michigan MC who recently dropped a video called Mia a Mi Novia. With the classic Bernie Mac scene in the beginning, high dives in undergarments, and the vintage 90's fashion, this for sure caught my attention. I will definitely keep him on my radar!
Fresh Video: Nova "Pink Sky"
Here you have the video to
Pink Sky from the homie Nova! This was the first song on his last album titled 22. These visuals are pretty simple, but what makes it unique is the color transitions in the different scenes as well as the painted garages and cement buildings. Seen the G Crack Killz in a few scenes! Check it out...
Fresh Music: A Minus "Beautiful Lady"
Verbal Vomit member A-Minus dropped this track called Beautiful Lady a few days ago. A-Minus explains his encounter with a "beautiful lady" he'd do anything to get. With not being able to catch her attention due to her relationship status, he decides to lay low and admire from a distance. Love love love it! Rock Paper P*ssy 2 is coming soon!

Fresh EP: Audio Dope "The Ultimate Aresenal"
Young artists from Detroit are beginning to emerge! Audio Dope dropped The Ultimate Arsenal EP a while ago, but I can't help to single out one song that caught my attention. Paper Chaser was the one song that I could rock with on the tape. The artwork is sweet!
Fresh Music: JD Cascade "Native Tongues" (Remix)
The woamie JD is back at it with a Native Tongues remix after releasing his most recent project Loud & Ambidextrous not too long ago. Not too sure if I prefer the original version or the remixed version just yet. Take a listen..

The Faded Penguin x The Mile Fly Club "Cosa Nostra"
FADED and The Mile Fly Club will be releasing a tape on Saturday called "Cosa Nostra". This tape will include artists such as Ro Spit, Drew 32, Crack Killz, and Nolan The Ninja. Stay tuned...
Fresh EP: CrackKillz "The Beautification Project"
The Beautification Project is not anything like what I've heard from Crack before, but I actually can rock with it. I wonder what his next mixtape/album will sound like? I'm hoping it will be something like this EP. Awesome artwork!
My favorites are P's and Q's, Willie Beamen, and That's Fasho (shoutout to Zelooperz)!
Fresh Album: Nolan The Ninja "NinjaTown"
My expectations for NinjaTown was pretty high. Nolan always seems to pick a great beat selection, as well as have meaningful lyrical content and word play. The last two tracks (Makaway-Reprise and Paz) are just straight beats and I thought that was different. My favorites would have to be Makaway, Phat and Phunky, and Tiffany! This project is pure hip hop and I love it! was in no way a disappointment!
8.11.2012
Fresh Mixtape: JD Cascade "Loud & Ambidextrous"
First off, I'd like to say Happy Birthday to JD and as a celebration the TreeLeader member decided it would be the perfect time to release his mixtape Loud & Ambidextrous today. This tape is everything I expected from the up and coming artist out of the city. The first song I heard from JD was Ambidextrous Feelings, and I've been rocking with him ever since. I like the flow of the whole project and it is definitely something you can ride out to.
My favorites would have to be Aphrodisiac, Ambidextrous Feelings, Native Tongues, Laid Back, and shoutout to JD for giving us a shoutout in the outro!
Looking forward to hearing what the other TreeLeaders sound like!
8.10.2012
Fresh Beat: George Chilliano "Chilliano So Swuav"
George Chilliano, formerly known as Dj O1 submitted a new beat called Chilliano So Swuav. I'd say that's a pretty good name for it, seeing that it is so smooth.
Anywho, check it out!

Fresh Video: Oshaun, Staasia Daniels, and Xpress "Income Tax Return"

Fresh Music: J.D. Cascade "Aphrodisiac"
With only 3 days until J.D. Cascade's next project Loud and Ambidextrious drops, he decides to hit us with a track called Aphrodisiac. Fresh Video: Teddy Franchize "Lean Wit It"
After releasing his Sweet Sixteens mixtape a few days ago, Teddy Franchize is back at it with a new video. This one is called Lean Wit It, and is also on his Sweet Sixteens mixtape. Which video would y'all like to see from him next?

Fresh Video: Kendrick Lamar "Swimming Pools" (Drank)
Today Kendrick Lamar released visuals to his newest sing Swimming Pools (Drank). I can dig this video from the hot red lights to the clear blue swimming pools. My favorite part would have to be when his conscious starts speaking to him.
Kendrick's good kid m.A.A.d city album drops October 2nd.
Nefprez Presents: "Check One: I am OTHER"
Since seeing the trailer to this, I've been eager to see the full version for a while now. Nef Prez introduces a short documentary that emphasizes what it feels like to not fit into society. The 3 "Others" were Flatbush Zombies (Meech and Juicee), Chris, and Shana. Each of them were asked questions such as their influences and growing up being different. All of them are embracing the "xCaliber Lifestyle", which is discontinuing conforming
to society’s way of doing things and letting their individuality shine. This is a really inspirational documentary to say the least. After watching it, you should embrace who you are and realize that it's okay to be different. Society needs to accept the fact that not everyone is the same.
Shoutout to Nef Prez! I Am OTHER.

Sir Michael Rocks : Lap Of Lux
The Tooth Pick Clique member Sir Michael Rocks has finally dropped his Lap Of Lux mixtape for the fans to enjoy. Many different producers helped put this together, but Cardo had his hands on the most, with that being 3 tracks.
Out of the 15 tracks, the ones that stuck out the most were GED, They Hate It, Reservations, Great, Good Sushi, Can't Hide It, You Know What, and The Clique.
All in all, Sir Michael Rocks impressed me with this tape, and I feel this is his best project yet.

Domo Genesis & The Alchemist: No Idols
Domo Genesis and Alchemist came together on a album called No Idols. With a total of 11 tracks, the features include people such as Tyler The Creator, Earl Sweatshirt, Smoke DZA, Space Ghost Purp, and more! I am impressed, and think they did a pretty good job on this tape.

Sweet 16's
The homie Teddy Franchize from Toronto just dropped his Sweet 16's mixtape! This is the pre-tape to his next project To Whom It May Concern, which debuts sometime later this year. I dig the album art, so shoutout to whoever put that together. It would've been dope if he would have put 16 tracks on here, but there is only 13. If you've ever watch "My Super Sweet 16" then you will catch the theme song at the beginning.
Teddy went the hardest on Stay Schemin, but the other songs I rock with are Sweet 16's, and New God Flow

A$AP Rocky & A$AP Ant: BLIS FM Freestyle
A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ant had a freestyle session on BLIS FM with Raheem DeVaughn. Shoutout to them for actually rhyming off the dome, instead of something previously written down. I think they did pretty well, how do you think they did?

Cruise Control
I've been talking about this album for a while, and now here it is. Motorcity Maz of the Ivy League Crew presents to you his first solo album Cruise Control. Features include Britney Stoney, Nolan The Ninja, CrackKillz, Manny Diesel, and more. From the first time I heard Maz, until now, I can tell he is making big improvements, and this project is a big stepping stone for him.
The title "Cruise Control" is perfect for this album, because you can ride out to it. This album includes uptempo tracks as well as mellow tracks. It started off slow (in a good way) and by the end I was vibing. From beginning to end this project was put together nicely and has nice production as well.
I'm a sucker for songs like Moving On, Paradise, and Good Morning Love, but others that stuck out to me were Word is Bond,
Detroit Lyon Interlude, Ride Out, and The Motor Club. Overall for my favorite, I can't pick between Paradise and The Motor Club, but who says I have to choose. Thank God Maz gave Stefon Lyon a chance to spit, because he was a fire flame spitter on Detroit Lyon Interlude.
Go ahead and put your car on Cruise Control and take a ride....
