Here is a new album titled S.O.L.D.I.E.R (Survival of Life & Death in This Everlasting Recession) from Pontiac's own Dice. 

I fell asleep listening to this mixtape and also wokeup listening to it. Dice is all about chasing his dreams and pursuing his passion which is music. One of the many things I like about Dice is that he talks about what he has been through in his life. Though I may not be able to relate to all of his songs I still feel like I have a connection with him through music. I like being able to hear about someones past and all of the struggles they have been through and how they got to where they are today. He is apart of a crew called 4 StarZ which may sound like a gang but it's not.. it's a movement! I can usually tell when an artist is phony and just talks about s#it they know nothing about but he is REAL. These are the types of artist I LOVE blogging about.

BEST ALBUM TO COME OUT OF PONTIAC in 2011

On here you will find club bangers as well as songs you can sit down and just vibe to. My favorite are Walk With Me, No Tomorrow, My City (shoutouts to my bro Ro Spit), My Inspiration, Fireworks, Where I'm From, S.O.L.D.I.E.R, Y.A.C (shoutouts to the guy J.G), and Outro (To The Top).

One thing Dice said that stuck out to me was "living a nightmare but I'm still chasing my dreams". A lot of times when people have a rough patch their life they back down. Choosing to still chase your dreams even though you're going through hell shows that you have perseverance which is a AWESOME characteristic.

As I listened to "My Inspiration" I couldn't do anything but break down and cry. There was only one song that made me break down like this but now I have to add this to the list. I can relate to this song because my mom is my inspiration, my rock, my WORLD. I am here BECAUSE OF HER, so why wouldn't I want to make her proud? In the second verse he refers to his grandmother. My grandma passed when I was young and I don't remember much of her but always wish I did. My grandpa passed last year which I took pretty hard. When I started high school I prayed that he would live to see me walk across the stage and graduate but unfortunately he wasn't able to. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about him and I'd do anything in this world to sit with you one more time R.I.P George W. Scruggs Senior <3. 

What I got out of this album is that you can make it through anything no matter what your past is. When you are patient, have faith in God, and keep chasing your dreams good things are bound to come!

Walk With Me..

Here is a new visual from from Dice titled "Walk With Me" produced by Ace Boogie. This song is off of his up and coming debut album called S.O.L.D.I.E.R. which will drop on 12.31.11. From listening to the material that Dice has been sending me, I can already tell you that I'll have a lengthy post for you on the 31st! Until then this can hold you over..

J.G is backkkkkkkk like he never left lol. New visuals to a song called "Grinding Work" produced by TDeeZy (@TDeeZyBeatZ) and directed by Tyler Citizen (@TCitizen_Films). 

A few days ago they debuted this song at my guy Brendan's party but unfortunately I came late and was not able to see how the crowd reacted but I heard that there was some rumps shaking and heads bobbing! Bravo to TDeeZy on the techo-like club beat.. it's crazy! Kudos to J.G on the lyrics.. my favorite part would have to be when he said "We don't break like these Kit-Kats, I sell dope, these dope raps, I taste like cocaine, they addicted to my name, with lames we don't hang, a million bucks is a low aim".

This video has a lot of a$$ and boobage in it! I like the fact that the video is shot in majority black and white with hints of color every few scenes. The little dance he does at 54 seconds cracks me up every time. My favorite scene shot is below

 

I was also able to attend J.G's set at the The New Way Bar where he also performed this song. There was a granny shaking her butt.. that's all I need to say. HE KILLED IT!

ZELOOPERZZZZZ!!

For the past few days i've been listening to this new mixtape called
"Coon N The Room: Eating Ramen Noodles While Watching Roots on Bootleg"

Funny story. Being on Twitter, you always see people promoting their mixtape, single, or EP through their avatars. I actually saw a few people with this mixtape cover as their avatar but really didn't think of it as anything. Later that day I checked my email and what do you know.. I had a email from Zelooperz. Before Tuesday I had NEVER heard of him but I know who he is now because he definitely distinguishes himself from other rappers.

I'm not going to lie, when I heard the name of this tape I thought it was going to be one of those mixtapes you just listen to complete nonsense but I was wrong! Listening to this entire mixtape I instantly noticed that his sound wasn't like other rappers. Zelooperz does HIM and doesn't care what other people think. EXCELLENT example of individuality which is what we live for over here at xCaliber! 

It's hard for me to pick what line stands out to me the most because there are a few.  "I unbuckle my belt, while she picking up sticks, get her wetter than gilligan, get on this island, got her saying my name like my first name Byreeeeeeen"

I can rock with every song on here but my favorite tracks on here have to be Tunk, Wii Dangerous, Coon N The Room, CartiAIDS (Produced by the guy @NolanTheNinja), White Faces, R.I.P Bin Laden, and Fair Well Welfare (Produced by the guy @Tdeezybeatz)! Just because I have favorites on here doesn't mean that I can't listen to the entire thing without skipping because I surely can.

I feel that I need to single out the song "TUNK" because the ENTIRE song is dope as HELL!. I like the fact that he shares his life with us. The end of the song when he is just talking, WOW! Shit is real..

We will be looking forward to hearing more from Ziloominati!
