Fresh Video: Maz Michigan "The Ride Inn"

It seems like everyone is changing their stage name as of lately! A year or so ago, Maz Michigan (formerly known as Motorcity Maz), dropped a project called Cruise Control, which is when he first got on my radar, and from then I became interested in his music and him as an artist. Here we have a visual to a track from Cruise Control called The Ride Inn. There are many things to think about when pursuing your dreams, but sometimes it's best to just cruise, and let things happen as they should. This is actually one of my favorite songs off the project, because it's so honest and he lets it be known that things aren't as easy as they seem, but at the end everything will be worth the struggle. Maz also explains why he decided to drop the video later than usual, smart man! Check it..
Be looking out for Maz's new EP Motorcity Merci to drop on 4/1/13

The Motor Club

While waiting for the release of the highly anticipated album Cruise Control from the Ivy League Crew's own Motorcity Maz, he has decided to drop another song to make the wait a little easier. This joint is called The Motor Club and features other fellow members of the Ivy League Crew, such as Sammy Boi The Ish, as well as members from Tha Raiders (Aint Sh*t Tish), Verbal Vomit (A-Minus) and GrindFace (M-City J.R). Kudos to Rico The Beat Bully for the production.
The combination of sirens, beat, and bold "I ain't never been no poser" statement caught my attention immediately. "I ain't got AIDS, but I'm sort of sick, no oil spills, but I'm more than slick, in a foreign whip, with a Florida chick, it's going down like a porno flick" Maz is getting better and better with his lyrics. This is the first time I've heard those other members of the IVYLC spit. Sammy Boi The Ish is a new addition to the crew, I'd like to hear more word play from him.  Tha Raider's Aint Sh*t Tish held it down for the female rappers out here and had me rocking. Verbal Vomit's A-Minus did exactly that, spit some verbal vomit! I'll definitely have to look more into him as an artist. GrindFace's M-City J.R. is a new face for me as well, but he did a good job laying the final verse. This is not a disappointment at all.
