Fresh Music: Gueringer the 13th "A Minute"

With a sudden name change from J.G. to Gueringer the 13th, we also got a shift in vibes from his latest drop. Before he spoke on the track, I could already tell from the beat that this would be an emotional song. In A Minute, we get a more personal side of Gueringer, which we never really were able to feel in the past. LOVE! Check it...

Fresh Video: The Chase feat. J. Alston "Blind Side"

The Chase is always dropping great music, and has yet to hit me with a disappointment. Blind Side is their newest drop featuring J. Alston. It's always a challenge for me to describe their music because they are the best of many worlds. Funky R&B with a classic Hip Hoppy (if that's a word) vibe. Check it....

Fresh Video: Mafia Kid "Better Days"

Found this little gem called Better Days from Mafia Kid while lurking through my emails today. We all know how hard it may to get through situations life may throw at us now, but there are always better days ahead. The way the video was shot brought about the feeling of nostalgia, and made me reflect on how great life used to be. Tough times don't last, but tough people do! Check it...

Detroit Rubber: Episode 2 - Party In The D

In this episode of Detroit Rubber, the mighty character Jay John is introduced to the world. I always knew Jay John was funny, but after watching this he might need his own TV show. See how they party in the D, and watch little baby Devin get pranked in a staged robbery! Check it....

Fresh Music: Dice "History In The Making" (prod: Ace Boogie)

Dice is back with a new drop produced by Ace Boogie called History in the Making. After seeing Dice perform at Pass The Mic last month, I could see the hunger in his eyes and it is apparent that he is showing signs of growth as an artist. Be on the lookout for his solo EP coming sooner than you think!

Detroit Rubber: Episode 1 - Prince Fielder's 10k Jordans

Episode 1 of the webisode series to "Detroit Rubber" dropped earlier in the day. Rick and Ro help The Detroit Tiger's own Prince Fielder in his search for the exclusive Eminem Encore 4 Jordan sneakers. There is between 24 and 50 made in the entire world, and they run about 10,000 dollars... yes, I said 10,000 dollars. If anyone can get the task done, you know who can do it..........check it!

Fresh Recap: The Motor Club 4

If you are unfamiliar, The Motor Club is a music showcase based in Detroit created by Ivy League Crew member Maz. Here we have a clip of a few performances along with other shenanigans that went down at the last Motor Club. Throughout the recap I see some familiar faces such as Crack Killz, Nolan The Ninja, Da G, and Maz himself. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it to The Motor Club 5, but you should definitely check it out!

Fresh Music: Joey Bada$$ "Unorthodox" (Prod. Dj Premier)

Last week I posted the video of Joey Bada$$ cooking up Unorthodox with DJ Premier in From The Block to The Top. Unorthodox is here and is everything I expected from the duo. The album artwork is sick as well. The subway bus has the Pro Era emblem, RIP STEEZ, and the term Beast Coast. With Pro Era member Capital STEEZ passing away last month just after Peep: The aPROcalypse dropped, I think it's dope how they incorporated RIP Steez in the center portion of the artwork. One love.
